During the process of searching and finding information, organizing your sources is important to avoid duplicating tasks and use your time wisely. 

  • Organizing information is an active process.
  • Use tech. tools to organize it.
  • Plan a due date for your search for information.
  • As you identify useful sources, do the formatting and add them to your bibliography.

It is an App that will help you save and organize online information creating collections. You can add videos, weblinks, pdfs, images, Google documents, music, Twitter, Instagram, and more. It is free and you can customize it by adding photos making it more visually friendly. You can share your collections, co-share them with others or keep them private.

 

Citation machines

Zoterobib is a free, easy tool that helps you do in-text citations and bibliographies.

Advantages:

  • Clean layout (no ads).
  • It's free.
  • It generates citations in any style.

Disadvantages:

  •  Not all sites work with the auto-generation feature.
  • You should verify them and tweak auto-generated citations.

 

Google Chrome / Safari bookmarks

You can organize selected websites and create folders.
